Our Quality Day Nursery in Coventry

We now offer full day care all year (50 weeks per year) for children aged 3 months to 5 years. We also offer term time only contracts.

Safe & Stimulating Environment

At Blossoms Day Nursery, we offer a warm and welcoming environment for our children and their families. We provide a wide range of learning opportunities to nurture children’s curiosity and promote their awe and wonder. We have creative areas, quiet nooks, and cosy home corners where children can use their imagination for role play. We have a large garden and offer opportunities for outdoor play and exercise throughout the day.

Blossoms Coventry are developing relationships with our local community. We visit our friends at our local care home regularly, where the children meet the residents, do activities with them, and brighten up their day.

Prepare Children For The Transition to School

It is important we prepare children for the transition to school whilst they are with us at Blossoms Day Nursery. We encourage this by following the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum (EYFS).

A warm welcome from our manager

Aleyna Erkul

Deputy Manager

My name is Aleyna, and I am the Deputy Manager at the nursery. I have been part of the setting for the past 4 years and hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare. I have a real passion for supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing.

I love creating a safe, nurturing, and welcoming environment where every child feels valued and confident to explore, learn, and grow. The most rewarding part of my role is watching children develop their personalities, achieve new milestones, and seeing the joy they experience as they discover new things.

I enjoy building positive relationships with children and their families, working alongside the team to provide the best possible care, and helping to create memorable experiences that support children’s early years journey.

I feel very proud to be part of the setting and look forward to continuing to support the children and families within our nursery community.

I have worked for Blossoms Day Nursery for over four years and am proud to be their People and Finance Manager. My role brings together my passion for nurturing a positive workplace culture with my expertise in HR and financial management. I find great joy in supporting our incredible teams across both settings, fostering professional growth, and ensuring the smooth running of our operations. Being part of the nurseries where I can watch the children flourish while contributing to the development and well-being of our staff makes every day incredibly rewarding.

I’m particularly committed to championing staff wellbeing, encouraging open and meaningful communication, and cultivating an inclusive and supportive environment for staff and children. Whether its helping team members reach their potential or contributing to strategic decisions that shape the future of the nurseries, I’m dedicated to making a positive impact every day.

Buttercups: Ages 3 -18 months
In the Buttercups room we aim to provide a caring and nurturing environment where the children are given countless opportunities to learn and develop while we closely follow the EYFS framework. The buttercups room is a stimulating home from home environment where we follow the children’s interests and adapt our planning to suit each individual child’s needs. This room is designed to create a comfortable and safe environment for babies from as young as 3 months old to around 18 months old.
Daffodils: 18 months to 3
The Daffodils room aims to provide a warm welcome to all of our children with an open layout allowing the children to freely explore and play. The room offers quiet nooks inside the teepee, reading corners and large open role play space for children to imitate actions and events from their own backgrounds. Our activities are planned around the children’s interests and next steps in development. Our engaging activities bring new challenges that help your children to learn and grow in a safe and nurturing environment.
Sunflowers: Age 3-4

Sunflowers offer a welcoming, cosy and stimulating environment for 3-4 year olds. We know that children learn best through play so we have a carefully planned and resourced room. We have several small areas and stations – each set up to capture children’s interests. The play doh station is always popular and a great place for open ended questions whilst developing fine motor skills. Across the room we often have young designers, engineers and builders creating structures with loose parts and construction tools. Outdoors in the mud kitchen is the best place for an exceptional mud pie! In preparation for school, we do small group activities such as phonics and handwriting. Whilst having lots of fun, we also encourage our preschool children to be independent, curious, kind and respectful.

Within the Sunflowers room we have a sensory space called The Den, which has been designed with special features to help engage children in sensory activities that contribute to their development. The special effects lighting, projector and hanging tent help to ignite the different senses and create a relaxed and calming environment. The den can support relaxation and provide low lighting to help soothe children but it also provides movement breaks and endless opportunities to develop communication and language.
